The appearance also echoed a compassionate moment from earlier in 2025: while visiting Altadena after the Eaton Fire, Meghan met a mother and her 15-year-old daughter who had lost their home. A missing concert T-shirt became the catalyst for help — Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo helped connect Meghan with Billie Eilish, who sent gifts for the teen. Meghan publicly thanked those involved for bringing the surprise together.

Friends, fashion and family ties

The couple posed with David Foster and his wife Katharine McPhee, who attended high school with Meghan. Meghan chose Princess Diana’s diamond and sapphire earrings and a Greta Constantine dress for the evening, while Harry wore a classic black tuxedo. Foster, who previously assisted the couple with a 2019 Vancouver Island stay, has long supported their ties to Canada.
